We were approached by our client to survey and report back on the roofing requirements of their facility in Milton Keynes. They required a solution to their ageing asbestos roof that was no longer water tight.
JDB Refurbishments recommended an overclad of their existing roof, changing their existing rooflights with new Class 1 GRPs to suit the existing profile, before introducing the new 0.7 plastisol coated profiled sheets with Class 3 GRPs.
FactoryClad 40 insulation was introduced, improving our clients building fabric and thermal performance.
A plygene gutter liner was installed in all gutters - 500 linear metres!!!
JDB Refurbishments prides themselves on their health and safety, with all RAMS (risk assessment and method statement) submitted to the client along with a schedule of works at pre start meeting.
JDB Refurbishments undertake many different aspects of refurbishment projects and whilst on site we were able to assist our client with additional services, including groundworks.
Our client required works completing in their loading bay for a ground bearing external concrete floor slab.
JDB Refurbishments were tasked to cut an area of 10 bays approx 100m2 to the full depth of the macadam surface and excavate to a depth of 400mm. All material excavated was disposed of off site. Our operatives then installed a sub base and membrane before laying concrete, reinforced with two layers of mesh. This was brush finished with trowel margins to to the edges.
Whilst on site we aligned the rear edge of the macadam with the other bays.
All works completed to schedule much to our clients satisfaction. Please contact us on 01536 416538 to se how JDB Refurbishments can assist with your project
